In order to make really good guitars it is necessary to use really good materials - and that often means exotic woods, simply because they sound and look the best. However, unlike traditional guitar companies, we do not use woods from endangered or protected forests. We rather like this planet and would like to leave as much of it here for future generations as we can. All the fine woods we use are selected from environmentally 'managed and sustainable' forests. The timber mills use a marking system that can identify the origin of the wood and can track it through production. We believe there is a big difference between 'using' and 'plundering' these valuable resources.
